Meet The Orchestra
The orchestra is located near Stanford University, in the Silicon Valley of the San Francisco Peninsula, California, USA.
The Great American Dance Band is an authentic full size American Big Band, and plays the Original Music and Arrangements which made the Big Band Era timeless.
All the famous Big Band artists are represented.
Among these are: Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Duke Ellington, Peggy Lee, Fats Waller, Billy May, Harry James, Hoagy Carmichael, Tommy Dorsey, Helen O'Connell, Jerry Gray, Billy Strayhorn, Neal Hefti, Doris Day, Bob Crosby, Artie Shaw, Louis Armstrong, Jimmy Dorsey, Perez Prado, Les Elgart, Bing Crosby, the Andrews Sisters, Les Brown, Gene Krupa, and many more.
The orchestra is available for engagements ranging from Formal Black Tie events, Weddings, and Corporate Meetings, to Informal Garden Parties, or just plain dancing.
